szólj hozzá: Man 8-2 Ars High
The Gunners conceded eight goals for the first time since 1896 as they suffered a catastrophic 8-2 loss at Manchester United
It was a result that prompted extreme criticism from fans and pundits alike, but Wenger has insisted he will not walk away from what is clearly a massive job to rebuild the confidence of a club who are still to find replacements for Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri, and have collected just a single point from their three Premier League games so far.

Arsene Wenger on Nicklas Bendnter's future: "I promised I would let him go if he found the right club and that has not changed because when I make a promise I keep it. But if he doesn't find the right opportunity he will stay and fight for his place like everybody else. He looks sharp in training."
Wenger - The reasons why Nasri left Arsenal
Arsène Wenger decided to let Samir Nasri leave for “psychological and financial reasons”.
Arsenal agreed terms with Manchester City for the purchase of the midfielder on Tuesday, just before the Emirates Stadium side departed to Udinese and a crucial Champions League Play-off second leg tie.
Nasri trained with the side that morning and, as against Liverpool at the weekend, would have lined up against the Italian outfit if selected. He did not know that Wenger made up his mind on the move just before the session. Later, the manager said he was reluctant to let the 24-year-old go but admitted he had to be “a realist” given the French international would have been able to leave on free transfer at the end of next season and able to sign a pre-contract in January.
“Samir trained on Tuesday morning,” said Wenger. “But I knew before training. He didn’t know, the decision was made this morning just before training. He came in to practice.
“I don’t question Samir Nasri's commitment or professionalism. If I told him ‘you come with us and play’, he would have played like he did on Saturday but you wonder what kind of a commitment you can have.
“Football rules are made like that, that the player can be worth a lot of money today and nothing in six months so it doesn’t look completely logical but, at the end of the day, of course, we are forced into a decision like that for psychological and financial reasons.
“I am a realist so I have no illusions. It's part of the modern life of a professional football player. It's not that by coincidence that everybody suddenly lands at Man City.
“We did not want to lose Fabregas, but we were forced into a situation we didn’t want. Nasri is a situation where the player didn’t want to extend his contract with the proposals he had somewhere else. What kind of commitment can you have when the player is not there long-term? That is the question you have to answer.”
Udinese Vs Arsenal 1-2 | UEFA Champion league 2nd leg
Theo Walcott and Robin van Persie both struck against Udinese to seal a 3-1 aggregate win and secure Arsenal's passage to the Champions League group stage.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will be allowed on the touchline for Wednesday's Champions League play-off second leg against Udinese after UEFA agreed to defer a two-match ban pending the outcome of an appeal.
Speculation has surrounded Arsenal's ability and intent to compete in the transfer market ahead of next Wednesday's deadline, but Wenger said: "We work very hard, I have said that many times, but we have many players out as well so I think we can be very positive as well.
"There may be signings but I cannot give you any names tonight. I cannot lie and say we sign somebody tomorrow."

Curry has more support than candidates in Singapore election
A push to cook curry this weekend has overshadowed the presidential election in Singapore. It's a sign of voter discontent over immigration and different cultures.
By Bloomberg News
The four candidates competing to become Singapore's next president are losing out to an unlikely rival on the campaign trail: curry.
As the contenders vie for the mainly ceremonial role before the Aug. 27 election, more than 55,000 people have pledged support for a Facebook page urging citizens to cook curry this weekend. The online protest began after the Today newspaper said a Singaporean family was pressured by its migrant Chinese neighbors to stop cooking the dish because of its odor.
The furor generated by the incident reflects increasing voter discontent over immigration in the nation, where 35 percent of the population of 5.1 million people are foreigners.
"I didn't expect it to go viral," said Flor Leow, a Singaporean of mixed ancestry in her 40s who started the "Cook and Share a Pot of Curry" page with friends and plans to make fish and chicken curries on Sunday. "We put up the event to say 'let's not argue, let's not quarrel, let's learn to tolerate, embrace and appreciate our multicultural way of life.' "
The Facebook sites of the four presidential candidates have attracted about a third the number of endorsements garnered by the curry campaign
