Mr Goldman was in Tokyo, Japan when the 8.9 magnitude earthquake and tsunami hit on Friday, March 11.
Mr Goldman tells AsiaOne of his near-death account accompanied with photographs he managed to take.
He also took photos of what he says is an "earthquake cloud". He claims that it served as an omen for the natural disaster that hit Japan. He took the photos five days before the earthquake struck.
